Angry Icemaker, thermostat for refrig/freezer not working
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TNS22PRCBLBS
Age: 5 - 10 years

Does the circuit board control the icemaker function (water dispenser works), refrigerator & freezer thermostat controls?

Icemaker stopped, freezer & refrigerator at number 9 is not working.

How long does the circuit board last? I believe I replaced mine give or take 2 years ago.

The circuit board for the ice dispenser does not control the temperature of the fridge.

If the compressor is not running locate the defrost timer in the control panel in the fridge section.

On the timer you will find a little button or knob that can be turn with a flat blade screwdriver.

Turn the knob until you here a click and if the compressor starts up you will need to replace the timer.

Here is a link to your fridge model TNS22PRCBLBS.

The defrost timer is number 648 in the breakdown.

I don't even know where to begin to look. So if I buy a new defrost timer, then ice maker will work again?
