The icemaker on my Kenmore 106.55609400 has completely quit. The water supply seems to be fine, as I can still get water from the front, but there's no other apparent activity of any kind.

Any suggestions on where to start diagnosing this? Is it going to be easier to just replace the whole thing?

The first thing to check is that the lever is in the on position.

The second thing to check is the water valve.

There is a double inlet valve at the back of the fridge.

One is for the ice maker and the other is for the water dispenser.

To test the ice maker look in behind the kick plate for the test procedures.

The kick plate is under the two doors.
