Default Icemaker issues
Brand: Inglis
Model Number: IS25AGXRQ00
Age: 1 - 4 years

My icemaker stopped working, so I replaced the entire mechanical unit located inside the freezer compartment. However, it is still not turning or getting any water.

I have also changed the filter and the door spigot is pouring cool water. I am just not getting any water into the icemaker mechanical unit nor is the mechanical unit turning at all.

From reading here, it could be the valves located in the bottom rear. How do I go about checking to make sure that is the problem? The part is not too expensive, but I do not like easter egg hunting for the problem.

Could it be a control board?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Check water inlet valve. Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com

try swapping the wires which plug into the solenoid at the inlet valve.

This way the water dispenser should send water to the ice maker and you'll know if the line is clear.
