Icemaker not getting water to fill the tray. Water dispenser in door works fine. It also dispenses ice fine if I buy some ice and fill the storage tray. Yech. Found no power to icemaker by shorting the two holes in front of unit with a piece of wire and got no movement. Power ok to the pins where it connected. Seems to be bad unit? Need a replacement icemaker ?? Repairman quoted me $290 to replace icemaker unit including labor. Seems expensive for the part as it can't take 30 minutes. Any other likely solutions?

Make sure the arm is down and the switch is activated.

The arm may be out of place.

You may only need the module.
