Icemaker door flap stuck open

The flap to the icemaker leading to the outside dispensor stays open causing the freezer to defrost. Is there a spring missing that would make it close after you dispense ice?

You probably have a blown solenoid in back of fountain cover. Go to partselect.com for part breakdown.
