Red face Ice2O water and ice dispenser
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MF12568AES
Age: 1 - 4 years

The door ice/water dispenser/ electronic sensors started blinking and opening and shutting the valve that dispenses ice when the compressor comes on. It will not dispense ice or water at all.

Default repairing the high voltoage bd on Ice20

Well, we had the Maytag repair guy come. Just our luck, which I don't believe in luck, but our warranty had expired two months ago! We had to replace the high voltage bd, which anyone can do...if you know where it is located. Maybe this will help someone else in the future. The high voltage bd is on the back of the refrig, behind a metal plate, hidden! The instructions should come with the part ($160), & you have to reprogram the bd.
It cost $260! parts & labor)

Which board fixed the problem? HV board behind the refrigerator? LV board on left door behind the key pad? Or keypad board?

Thanks,
Lee
