I have a GE Profile that just stopped dispensing water and ice. When the dispensing lever is pressed, the compressor and fan shut off momentarilly and the LCD indicators inside go blank momentarilly as well. A couple of seconds later, the compressor kicks on again. The icemaker still works, although since I haven't dispensed any, I better go and check it.

I have the same refridgerator (GE Profile PSC23SGRD SS) and same problem - ice and water won't dispense.

When it first started acting up, there was a loud click and hum when I depressed the dispenser tongue with a cup...but no ice and auger was not turning. Water still worked. Later, no sounds and no water.

Now the front display lights up and I can switch between crushed and cubed ice, water, etc. The light also works fine. But there are no sounds, no click from the relay. The icemaker is still working fine.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to figure out whether this may be a simple problem before I call a serviceman. Thanks in advance!
