Side by Side Hotpoint refrigerator - Ice and Water is dispensed everything works, only the flapper (this keeps the cold air in the freezer) came off, how do you take the thing apart to put the flapper back on.

Maybe- pry or pull gently on the front cover of the dispenser. A plate should come off exposing screws etc. which your remove to gain access. Post your model number for more than a maybe.
