The internal ice maker is working fine. the door dispenser for Ice and water are not functioning. The light in the door is working - so I know power is getting to the door. Any ideas on what to check for next - would be greatly appreciated !

You will have to check the switch in the dispenser to see if one of them has failed.

The wiring diagram should be on the back of the fridge or in an envelope under the fridge stuck to the bottom.

Both items are not working (ice dispenser and water dispenser). Do I need to check both swicthes ??? What's the likelyhood that both went bad at the same time ?

I would check the selector switch first.

do you mean the selector switch that chooses between crushed ice and cubed ? There is no other selector switch unless you mean the actual activation switch for the qater or the actual activation switch for the ice dispenser. PS - do not hear any motor sound when hitting either activation switch.

Yes check all the switch in the dispenser.

Make sure that there is power going to all the switches.

If you follow the wiring diagram it will make it easier.
