Default Ice maker wont work HELP!!!!!!!!
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 10650269990
Age: 5 - 10 years

Ok my water dispensis from the front but no water in the ice maker i check to make sure the lever was down no ice on it i then checked the line going from the top of fridge to the bottom it was clear I then took off the thing in the back where the water line goes in took it off and the line to the freezer and had nothing coming out can anyone help???please

Swap the connectors on the water valve, then push the water dispenser, if the icemaker doesn't fill with water, you have a bad water solenoid, or a frozen freezer fill hose. If it fills, you have a bad icemaker.

I tried to swap them but the connectors are different sizes on the 2 plugs

ok i belive i got it i took the solenoid off and the contact that wires hook too on the ice maker side the plastic was melted a bit so i believe it needs to be replaced if i am wrong some1 please let me know Thanks alot
