Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.54619300
Age: 1 - 4 years
I have a Kenmore Elite side by side, and the Ice maker quit working last weekend. It is on...the feezer is cold...nothing is blocking the infared sensors. Please help

does water dispenser work.
If you put water in the ice mold will it freeze and dump going through the cycle.

the water disp does work...havent tried putting water in it....where do you put it?

Here 's a picture of the mold. Top shelf of the freezer. Partselect.com - Whirlpool Ice Maker Parts And All Brands of Appliance Parts

try swapping the wires which plug into the solenoid at the inlet valve.

This way the water dispenser should send water to the ice maker and you'll know if the line is clear. See water inlet valve here- Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com
