The ice dispenser in the door won't dispense ice through the chute only water.
I checked the chute for blockage but nothing blocking it.
When the button on the door is pressed the door opens and buzzing noise sounds the stops but nothing happens.
So we have to get the ice by hand.

What is the problem and can it be easily replaced. If so how can I fix it.

The ice can get blocked in the tunnel from the ice storage bin. But you should still be able to hear the auger turning or the motor behind the back of the freezer which turns it. Hold the door switch in and hold the ice dispenser button in and observe the operation in the bin and listen for sounds.

Ok. I Observeded the operation and I removed the ice storage.
And I can see the solenoid (left side) goes up and down when I press the button and it makes a "click noise".
But the drive auger disp(part#365) doesn't turn and I think this is part that move the ice.

It could be slipping but check the parts involved- clip part 366-motor 369 SOLENOID-378.
