 Ice Maker on Whirlpool isn't working Brand: Whirlpool Model Number: GS6SHAXKQ01 Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a side by side freezer and refrigerator with an ice/water maker. The ice maker is not making ice. However, the water part works perfectly fine. The arm things that take the ice out still move as if to take out ice but there is no ice to take out. It's just that there is no water filling up the ice trays. I had a repair guy come to my house. He first wanted to replace the entire ice maker. The next day he comes over he says he wants to check one more thing and decides I don't need an entire replacement. He replaced the lazor beam sensor thing but it still is not working. Now he's talking about replacing the cylynoid (sp). I need help! I don't think the repair guy knows what he's doing and just wants my money. Please help! |
