Default Ice maker water valve
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: im 6
Age: Less than 1 year

I ordered a new icemaker kit IM6 for my new frig. Everything fits except the water valve. GE sent a water valve, with one terminal, for a 3 pin model. my frig is set up for a 2 pin model, with two terminals. Is there any way to use this water valve without returning the kit? thanks for your help

You should contact GE and see if they sent you the right kit.

Here are the numbers for General Electric.
