Default Ice Maker Tune-Up
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 25370812001
Age: 1 - 4 years

The icemaker has never been connected, I connected it and when I put the arm in the "on" position it seems to move and function. But it just stops and i dont hear any water filling up or anything.

Any tips on what to look for in this situation?? Thanks

Hi,

Make sure you have water to the refrigerator.
Also make sure the water valve is plugged into the wire harness.

You said "make sure the water valve is plugged into the wire harness". Tell me more, please. We just had our floor replaced and had to move the fridge and now the ice maker doesn't work. Doesn't fill, doesn't dispense....doesn't seem to have any power to it.

The water line connects to the water valve on the back of the refrigerator.

That water valve should have a couple wires plugged into it.
Make sure they are plugged in.
