Water no longer flows into the automatic ice maker tray. However, the tray still goes through the motions of lowering to release ice. Ofcourse, no ice is being made because the water is not flowing.

There's a small circuit board on the icemaker--a red LED light is always on.
This Gibson box is over 20 years old-a Foodmaster Side-by-Side.

Any idea what part(s) need to be replaced or what I can do to get the water flowing again?

This could be your water inlet valve at the back of the fridge were the water line is hooked.

Can you Please check your model number as there seems to be something wrong with the last three characters.
