Default Ice Maker still overfilling
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ED5PHAXMQ00
Age: 5 - 10 years

I removed my icemaker, cleaned out the ice (not just in the ice cube sections) checked voltages, turned water adjustment a quarter turn CW, jumpered and everything went as normal and the tray filled. After several ice drops, I put my hand in past the tray and it appears that too much water is still be released.

Would that mean that the valve in the back of the fridge or the valve in the icemaker is bad?

Thanks for the help!

Default Please help!

Please someone help me figure out which valve to change, I'm trying not to waste money. The icemaker tray has lost almost of it's coating so I'm not worried about replacing the tray and the icemaker is working great with exception of too much water.

Thanks to anyone
