About three months ago our Kitchenaid Superba ice maker quit working, I bought a new icemaker kit from PartsSelect (part #PS358591), it worked for 3 cycles of ice cubes then quit. I have checked the water supply line and it is clear, I put 7 oz of water in the tray (per another post) it freezes but will not eject.
A "friend" said it may be the control module that stops the icemaker operation if the door is open or the ice bucket is removed. I will be happy to buy the control module, but I would like to be sure that is the problem.
My wife is tired of buying ice at the store, please help.

You will have to see if you are getting power to the ice maker.
