Ice maker stopped working at the end of a cycle, just before ejection into the basket. It has water supply to the dispenser and icemaker. I removed the ice maker module, and inspected the inner workings. I found that the copper electric line inside was scorched where it meets one of two pins connecting the heater tray. Is this my problem? Do I need to replace just that component, or the entire icemaker module?

If the heater pin is scorched it is likely best to replace the entire unit.
