Default Ice maker overfilling
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: psc23sgn
Age: 5 - 10 years

The ice maker on my GE overfills a little with each filling makeing a mess. I repaced the double outlet water valve and it still dose the same thing. Is there a fill timer and can it be ajusted?

take off plastic front cover of icemaker.in upper right corner there should be a screw and spring with a plus and minus above it.adjust this screw in the direction for minus and it will decrease fill accordingly

Thanks for the responce. The icemakers is on a GE Profile, it is solodstate electroninc. I have ordered and new unit, and hope that works.
