Angry Ice Maker over fills
Brand: Amana
Model Number: SSD25T
Age: 5 - 10 years

When the ice maker is filling the water it running over the top of the cavity were the ice is made. How do I adjust the amount of water that is added to the cavity? The ice maker works fine but the water is gettin all over everthing..

if this is something that has just started to happen it is likely the valve in the back of the fridge is not closing all the way.

There is likely some dirt holding the valve open.

Here is the fill valve.
