I'm new so I would like to say a big hello to all! My background is hot rods but I have been doing light const. around the house so 'm getting familiar with wood and such. If you're not getting any water to ice maker or water dispenser check your water inlet valve. Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com

It's part number 800 on this diagram of your unit. It's on the back near the bottom. Your water line is hooked to it. You can also see a picture of the part in the parts list also #800. GE Appliance GSH25JSRFSS Parts List

I am having this same problem. last night before reading this post I unhooked the water inlet valve with the water supply from the wall still on. I should have had water pouring out of the supply line right? When I depressed the water dispenser the inlet valve made a noise and seemed to have a slight suction.

Could it be a blocked line some where? I don't have a volt meter to check, I'll need to borrow a friends this weekend.

If you have ice and water try swapping the water lines or the wires on the inlet valve and see if the water comes out the ice maker when you depress the water dispenser. It could be stopped up where it goes in the valve or a defective valve. Take it apart and make sure it's clear.
