If it's not the water inlet valve ( Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com ) it's the ice maker.

Discovered that the tube that feeds water into the ice maker was frozen solid, I managed to get cleared but now the pipe that feeds it, from the back of the fridge, is also frozen solid. Is there an easy way to thaw it out?

Yes, use a blow dryer. Also once you are done, turn the controls down a little bit. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

If that is your fill tube that is frozen then your water inlet valve is leaking and it will happen again.

I beg to differ with you Mr. Woodchuck. Some times the seal in the back of the freezer does not seal the air properly, and you would have to get a plumbers putty to put it over the area where the water line comes in. The outside ambient air hits the 0 degree air of the freezer, and it frosts up the water inlet to the icemaker. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
