Discovered that the tube that feeds water into the ice maker was frozen solid, I managed to get cleared but now the pipe that feeds it, from the back of the fridge, is also frozen solid. Is there an easy way to thaw it out?
I beg to differ with you Mr. Woodchuck. Some times the seal in the back of the freezer does not seal the air properly, and you would have to get a plumbers putty to put it over the area where the water line comes in. The outside ambient air hits the 0 degree air of the freezer, and it frosts up the water inlet to the icemaker. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
