Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 1 - 4 years
Ice maker is operating, but it is not getting water. However water is dispensing with out a problem

Hi,

Check the ice maker water fill tube to see if it's frozen.

Check water inlet valve. You have a dual valve and one side can quit while the other side works. Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com

Have you tried to defrost the ice maker water supply line? Just did this on my ice maker and it fixed the problem
