Ice maker is not doing anything. I ordered a water valve (that is the part fixed the problem last year). Replaced water valve but still nothing to the ice maker.

The water inlet does not appear to be frozen - I can squeeze the rubber hose. Could be frozen further up out of my reach but not sure how I could test that.

Does anyone know how to test to see what parts I should order?

Is water getting to the inlet valve. Line could be stopped up. Do you have water dispenser . You can swap lines to see if the ice supply line works with the water dispenser. There's not much chance of the line freezing because it's not under pressure in the freezer, it drains into the ice maker. If the inlet valve has a slow leak in can freeze in the filler tube because comes in so slow. Check this troubleshooting chart. Ice Maker Diagnostic Guide: How To Fix an Ice Maker - ACME HOW TO.com
