Default Ice Maker Not working
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JRSD249OT
Age: 5 - 10 years

Ice maker was not filling with water. Replaced the icemaker still not working. I am thinking that the only other thing it could be woud be the Double Outlet Water Valve Kit PS45958. Is there anythine else I shold look for?

Make sure that the temperature in the freezer is 5 degrees or below.

The ice maker will not operate if the temperature is above this.

Check the water valve with a meter to see if it is good.

You should get the same reading on both valves.

I replaced both the water value and the icemaker. The water is not filling into the icemaker at all. I seems that when the valve sends water to the icemaker the water sprays from where the pipe goes into the freezer on the back.

PLEASE ADVISE.

A leaking water tube. Replace the tubing from the ice maker to the inlet valve, Unless it's come off and you can push it back on.

Check and see if the fill tube in the freezer is frozen.

This will cause the water to spray out where ever it can.
