Only two out of the eight ice molds are working properly. The ice maker is only making two ice cubes per cycle. Any ideas or suggestions??

Thanks

There is not enough water coming in. Most likely water pressure problem (reverse osmosis needs servicing?)

I am having a similar problem with a GE TFX25JRYDWW (10 Years old.

I noticed that I am only getting about 6 cubes per cycle....I took a mirror during the "fill cycle and watched the water coming "in" but just not enough..

I turned off my water supply to the unit...disconnected the supply line...and then turned the supply line back on...To check to make sure I had pressure to the unit.
(pouring water into a bucket)...plenty of pressure.

The only thing that is in the "process" is the water valve...I even tried blowing compressed air through the lines...I am guessing that my solenoid is getting weak

What tells the water valve how long to stay open? Either I have water restriction (build up in solenoid / partially open solenoid)...OR it isn't staying open long enough.

Any help advice would be nice...but I think that I have it narrowed down to the water valve...just need to know how to be SURE.

Thanks,

Fcountry

Remove the white cover. At top right there is a screw with + and- turn towards the plus and check fill.
