Default Ice maker module installation
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 1 - 4 years

Whirlpool model: EDPHEXNT00

Attempted to install ice maker motor module assembly PS381007. Factory position of motor gear drive results in ice maker ice-cube ejector drive shaft to be in mid-cycle position when installation is complete. Rotating motor module for alignment would result in damage to motor drive.

What is the installation procedure for installing the part such that the icemaker is in the initial cycle position?

Default

With the icemaker plugged in take a piece of 14 gage wire and strip the ends.

Using the wire as a jumper place the end in the holes marked T and H.

This will run the motor to advance it to the right position.
