Default Ice maker line frozen solid
Brand: Amana
Model Number: ars2665aw
Age: 5 - 10 years

My icemaker has quit makeing ice. The symptoms prior to depth includes a different fill noise and ice cycle above to water tube where it enters icemaker.
Anyone have an opinion about what parts to replace?

Thanks
Camille

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze. You can take the tube off the valve and watch to see if it drips. Also see this--Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com

You have a double inlet valve. Swap the electrical plugs or swap the hose connections.
