Ice maker is leaking water all over the place. Cannot use water dispenser in front because I can't find a valve to shut off where it goes to ice maker?

Behind the unit is a valve with a water line going into it from your wall, baseboard or floor. There is usually a cut off valve there or under the sink where the water usually comes from. Check out the water valve here. Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com

yes, I know that valve well..I've replaced it two times already. What I'm wondering is where the lines divide inside the unit where one goes to the ice maker and the other goes to the water spout......is there a valve between those two or does the ice maker unit serve as the valve?

Any ideas on why it is leaking? Is it the line or the ice making unit? Any ways to tell?

are most leaking problems contributed to frozen lines?
