Question Ice maker leaking
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: GD25DQXFW01
Age: 5 - 10 years

My icemaker quit, but I know part of it is due to a broken icemaker bearing and cup assembly (that governs the release arm). This though was caused by leakage at the back end of the icemaker, turning the cubes into a big blob. Any advice? Should I replace the whole thing? Can I pull the wiring harness out without causing any damage (doesn't easily come out). Any advice appreciated!

You may have a leaking water solenoid or low pressure to it. Pull back panel and check
