Our 8 year old icemaker continues to make ice. However the actuator for the dispenser in the freezeer door frequently does not initiate the delivery of ice. Sometimes you can get it to start the delivery by pushing harder (Bad according to the manual!) The lever opens the outside door. There must be a (micro)switch that this lever actuates that opens the inner door and starts the delivery motor. I suspect the switch is in the door but there appears no easy way (screews?) to take off the front freezer door subassmbly. Any help?

Also, I'd like to get a wiring diagram for this refrigerator. I didn't see any offerred at your site. Any hints?

Here is an exploded view of your fridge model KSRE25FHBT00.

Your wiring diagram should be with the fridge. It is sometimes stuck to the back of the fridge or found behind the kick plate by the water filter.

The face plate is sometimes held on with two way tape.

There are micro switches in the door.

Thank you for your response. I had downloaded and printed out all of your diagrams for this refrigerator previously, but unfortunately they don't show enough detail as just how to remove the front panel of the freezer door. I'm reluctant to try to pry it off using the gaps at the bottom of this panel. It's strange to use double sided tape instead of a copuple of well placed screws (hidden under a logo.

Anyone else ever taken this panel off?
