Need help troubleshooting this one. My ice maker will make ice but sometimes the ice cubes will not get pushed out of the cube holder. It get's frozen up, I take the unit out and run hot water to get the frozen water out of the unit and then it will make ice for about 2-3 cycles and then freeze up again where it can't push the ice out. Not to famaliar with ice makers. Is their a small heater element to warms up the ice to make it able to be pushed out? What suggestions does anyone have?

Alot of times the motor gets weak, and can't remove the ice. Just change out the motor module. That is the whole guts. It is held in with three phillips head screws. Let me know if you need any help. you can reach me at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
