In door ice dispenser door flap does not close. Solenoid controlling flap open/close makes constant buzzing when power is applied to the unit. Opening freezer door, stops the solenoid buzzing and closes ice dispenser flap. As soon as freezer door is closed, solenoid for ice dispenser flap activates and flop opens. Solenoid has been replaced but problem persists.

Is sounds like one of the micro switches has arced contacts.

Did you get your model number off of a tag in the fridge section that has the serial number on it?

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, I got the model number from the tag on the refrigerator section (on the door). Don't recall a serial number, but I'll check if that will help.
