repair guys,

I have problems with my ice maker. Ice maker doesn't work. Drinking water works fine. I looked into the tray that keeps the water to make the ice and it has frozen ice in the tray. The forks however that separate the cubes is in the upright position. I am thinking about removing the maker itself and removing the ice. Maybe if I have everything clean, clear and dry it will begin to work again. I will wait for your advice.

The other thing to check is the emitter and receiver.

Look behind the kick plate that goes across the front of the fridge for information on how to test them.
