Hi, I'm having some trouble with my ice maker. I noticed the fingers were in the down position so I checked the water valves and they were working right. I filled the tray with water and the fingers started to move around and stopped in the correct position. Thought everything was going to start working properly but when I went back to check things the fingers were stuck in the down position again and frozen in the ice. Any ideas?????

It seems like every thing works when I free it up, the fingers spin around when I put water in the tray then it came to a point and added more water, then spun around and hit the last switch and shut the fingers off in the upright position. Would it be the tray heater or what??? And to fix most problems do you just replace the board and motor assy. on the left side of the unit?
