Age: More than 10 years
Whirlpool Side By Side,approx. 3 yeras old, Getting water but no ice , ice cube tray dry. How can I tell if it's the inlet valve or some thing in the ice maker?

Try this Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com
and try manually adding some water to see if the ice maker will start cycling then.
