Question Ice maker
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MZD2665HEW
Age: 1 - 4 years

The icemaker is making ice, but not dispensing. There is no problem with dispensing water and you can hear the dispenser trying to dispense ice, but no ice is dispensed. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Check the dispenser bin for broken end cap.

Here is a link to your fridge model MZD2665HEW.

Thank you, Shelia. Would you please tell me what the end cap is. Obviously, I've removed the ice bin and am not sure what that part is. I wondered if I should just order a new ice bin, auger, etc. Again, thank you for your help.

The end cap is a round disk at the back of the bin that the auger is attached to.

It is number 2 on the breakdown.
