Default Ice maker
Brand: Roper
Model Number: rs25agxnq01
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a Roper fridge with ice and water in door. It's about a year old. The ice maker is just putting out cubes, not crushed and the plastic spill cup is loose and has slipped down, but still attached. Is there a way to get inside the thing so I can check it out? Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

Check the solenoid in the back of the ice dispensing bucket.

Is the cup that you are talking about the one on the door.

Here is a link to your fridge model rs25agxnq01.

The solenoid is working, and yes that is the cup I am referring too. I'd like to be able to get inside to try to repair the cup so that it works as it should. Many thanks for your help. billyjack

The drip tray just slide in to place.

If you want to take the dispenser front off take a flat blade screwdriver and along the bottom edge of the trim you will find two slots.

Hold the drip tray against the front of the fridge and place the screwdriver in the slot and pry out.

Hope this helps.
