Default Ice maker
Brand: Magic Chef
Age: 5 - 10 years

My side by side Magic Chef ice mnake started acting up.After Dumping ice the "arm" stays up and it groaned when it started to dump the cubes. I replaced the module and that one worked fine for a couple of weeks, but now the new one makes ice fine , dumps and the the arm stays up. If you push it down, it goes thru the cycle, makes ice, dumps and then the arm stays up again.
Any suggestiions as to a fix?

I don't have the model number handy but the icemaker module Is numbered
D7824706Q Maytag/Amana. Which I replaced it the refrigerator. For some reason it now seems to be working as it should. It dumps a load of cubes, then the arm comes down and it starts to make another load.Thank you for the follow up.
