Default Ice Maker
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 363.8597982
Age: 5 - 10 years

The ice maker runs over when the water comes in. I have replaced the complete ice maker but the new one does the same thing. Is there an adjustment to control how long the water runs in.

It sounds like the fill valve is sticking.

Did you have to shut the water off to get it to stop coming in?

Thanks for your reply. No I did not have to cut off the water it stops by it
self but not before running over the ice tray. This seem to have started when I
replaced the fill tube. It came a part behind the ice maker. I replaced this
fill tube all the way down to the water valve. Maybe all I need is to replace
the valve ? That seems to be all that is left.
