Hi

My old icemaker was making ice but it was leaking from ice maker into the catch tray and jamming up the auger so i ordered a new ice maker from Part Select installed it and now i get no ice or water into the dispenser. Was wondering if there is something else wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your water solenoid is bad. Apply 115 volts to the valve section that feeds the smaller plastic tube. Hold for nine seconds, icemaker should fill up. If not you may have a frozen feed tube in the freezer.
For the fountain water supply you may now have a frozen water line in the door.

Ok..... water has finally gone into the ice making tray but it is not dispensing into the ice holding bin. This is very strange as my old one was making ice just fine but was leaking water into the ice holding bin and jamming up the auger part of the bin so i decided to order a new one. hmmmmmmmmmmm

Your freezer temperature may be above the thermostat level of 15 degrees. Check temps: if a modular icemaker you can verify with meter, just refer to diagnostics given with it.
