The ice machine in this unit will not continue to make ice.The water supply tube freezes solid. I changed out the dual water valve about 8 months ago the last time it stopped making ice. Could this be the problem again? The last time it froze it pushed the supply tube out the back of the fridge.

It is possible the valve is bad but first check the fill tube where it enters into the icemaker. Make shure the tube is not up against the fill cup trapping some water in the tube and causing this problem. I have taken and cut tube at a 45 degree angle where it enters the cup to keep this from happening. Check yours out, it may be just that.
