Unhappy Ice line leaking
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 25359682993
Age: 5 - 10 years

We have a Kenmore side-by-side fridge/freezer that is leaking. It comes out from the bottom of the freezer door, after you hear the ice maker filing with water to make ice. I have looked in it, after clearing out and defrosting, and can see hoses through a grill that appeared red hot and steaming.
Any ideas? I hate to call a repair man if it isn't worth it.

You probably have a water valve that is leaking or low water pressure to it.
You also may have a jammed icemaker, jammed in fill!!

I have a GE side by side. In-door ice and water dispensers. Both work well. Once in awhile(daily) I get water pooling on the floor at the bottom of both the freezer door and the fridge door. Checking inside the unit shows no water presence. Looking at plastic water line underneath front of unit shows no damage or leaks. Any ideas?
