Be patient with me, this is my first post... This side by side ref had a door ice maker dispenser. The ice was hanging up in the door and I see that there is a black plastic cover flap of some sort that opens and closes to allow the ice out. It is loose on one side and hangs up when the ice tries to come out of the door, so all of the ice jams. This part looks like it has electircal lines through it? i'm not sure and can't see it well enough... is this a replaceable part? can anyone help?

To access the parts that you are describing remove the dispenser trim.

To do this find the slots along the bottom of the trim and slide a screwdriver in and pry out.

This will release the bottom.

Push up on the trim and it should release the top.

Then you will have access to the parts of the dispenser.

It sounds like the shut door is broken or out of place.
