I have an Amanna side by side. The auto ice maker fills ok but the ice turns into a block of solid ice. Now I have to take a hammer and crow bar to break it up just to get the ice bin out. It seems to fill ok but is it ejecting the ice too soon? This does not seem to be the case. To get ice you have to reach in to get the ice the auger is frozen and will not dispense the ice. Two years ago I replaced the ice filler valve where the water line comes in. I seem to have good pressure also. Ice also flows in the body of the freezer. Any idea would be appreciated. |
