Default Ice forming in bottom of freezer
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: tfx25jryf
Age: 5 - 10 years

Ice is forming in bottom of freezer than melting out the front of door as best as I can tell. I turned the icemaker and it has seemed to have helped, but still a little ice around drain plug, but nothing like before.
Is this the ice maker??? Have checked where hose comes into icemaker and keep see where it is leaking, don't see any leakage down the back of freezer either.

HELP

I would think that the water is coming from the defrost cycle.

The drain is located behind the panel at the back of the freezer.

The drain is likely plugged up.

Remove the back panel and clear the drain.

You may want to run a stiff but flexible piece of wire down through to make sure you get every thing.

Let the freezer get cold again and then turn the ice maker back on.

I think this should cure your problem.

Here is a link to your fridge model tfx25jryfaa.
