Post Ice Door Closes 1/2 Way
Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: HSS25IFMC WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

The little Ice door does not close all the way after ice is dispensed. I usually have to push it the last 1/4 inch to ensure a seal. Is there a spring or something that goes bad?

This diagram shows door part 62 and a spring part 63 and the hinge part 67. These parts could be defective or gummed up . Inspect, clean etc. HSS25IFMC Parts List
