Default Ice dispenser working water dispenser not working
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ED5RHeXNL03
Age: Less than 1 year

I just bought a Whirlpool side by side refrigerator 2 weeks ago. The water dispenser will not work. The ice maker works fine but when the water dispenser is depressed a few drops dribble out then stops. A repair technician from the appliance store I purchased the refrigerator from came out said a part needed to be replaced (I am not sure what was replaced). After he replaced the part and the water dispenser still did not work he advised me the water pressure was low. I did not have any water dispenser problem with my previous side by side .
Could I have purchased a defective refrierator or is it really the water pressure?

The water inlet valve could be stopped up or not working or switching the water supply to the new fridge could have loosened some sediment, stopping up the line. You can take the water line off the inlet valve and try the water switch and see how much pressure you have.

Check water inlet valve
