Default Ice dispenser won't shutt off after repair
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS23F5A
Age: 5 - 10 years

We recently replaced the water dispenser lever, then immediately had trouble with the ice dispenser continuously running. We disconnected power and wiring to the door ice/water dispensing unit. Thinking that the power board was the problem, we ordered a new power board and replaced it. The problem is still the same. Is there some way to reset the ice dispenser to the "off" state? We may have to return parts, as this has gotten expensive and the problem is still there. Thanks!

Default

Check the installation of the lever. There are two micro switches that the dispenser levers activate.

It sound like something is causing the micro switch to stay on.
